With extensive training and research, I possess the skills and passion required to create imagery essential in visually communicating content in the medical and life-science fields. I use art and technology to show that learning difficult scientific content can be a beautiful, fun and rewarding experience.

I love being a team player and collaborating with people because it gives us an opportunity to not only see our work from different perspectives, but to see the world in new and exciting ways.

“Hi I’m Danielle Robinson, a biomedical visualizer specializing in using 2D and 3D illustration, interactive media, and design principles to accurately convey complex scientific topics to a wide spectrum of audiences. I received my MS in Biomedical Visualization from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2020. Courses included: anatomy, physiology, biology, chemistry, and molecular pharmacology as well as courses in 3D modeling, illustration, design, data visualization, learning theory, and interactive media.

My background in fine art and art history contribute to my understanding of light on form, perspective, human anatomy, line, and shape. I worked as a freelance illustrator and fine artist for 3 years after completing my BFA in Painting and Drawing from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pa. When I’m not working or studying, I enjoy traveling, trying new foods, and exploring the world around me (which includes binge watching nature documentaries). “
